Steven Wiltshire, Principal

Steven Wiltshire, Principal

Steven Wiltshire is a principal at Asset Mortgage and Finance. AMF was originally established in 2004 and reinstated in 2012, as a capital resource for commercial real estate investors. Located in Portland Oregon, AMF primarily markets and serves real estate investors, intermediaries and property owners in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah.

For the past 12 years in the industry, Mr. Wiltshire has sourced and secured successful financing transactions for multiple clients, totaling several millions of dollars of loan volume and several property types. He specializes in multifamily assets both, standard market and low income housing, as well as single tenant and multi-tenant retail and industrial properties.

Mr. Wiltshire works closely with real estate investment professionals to ensure optimal financing options to accommodate their investment goals and strategies. AMF is based on a philosophy of working FOR the client; focusing on THEIR objectives; taking an emotional ownership position to their project. Our focus is on the client’s objective in financing. By meeting the goals of our clients, we create trusted relationships rather than customers. This philosophy of trust, client-building and long-term relationships, is the backbone of AMF and it team members.

Prior to Asset Mortgage and Finance evolvement, Mr. Wiltshire held financial positions at Marcus & Millichap as a Director of Capital Markets in Portland. He also held a position as a senior loan officer for Columbia Resources Inc. in Portland and was the chief operations officer at First Fidelity Lending Corporation for the western region. Prior to the financial industry, Mr. Wiltshire devoted 17 years of service to the manufacturing industry.

Mr. Wiltshire has a diverse background in business ownership, management, and real estate finance. He offers the full spectrum of loan structures, including permanent, interim, bridge and mezzanine.

Mr. Wiltshire is a native of Portland where he held an Oregon real estate broker license. He is currently licensed in California. Brian Cawthon, AMF Capital

Brian Cawthon joined AMF Capital in July 2016.

Mr. Cawthon began his position with AMF Capital as an analyst after interning with the team in 2014-2015.  He provides a preliminary review of a client’s loan request; including review of cash flow, operations and management of collateral real estate. Tim Steele, AMF Capital

Tim Steele, AMF Capital

Starting in the industry as a teller at Wells Fargo, I looked for a more challenging position in the business.

In 2005 I accepted a role as a processing and closing director for a small commercial mortgage brokerage firm in Portland Or.

As the market moved, I moved with it. I accepted a position at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, a nationally recognized real estate mortgage brokerage firm, and continued my role in the industry as a processor and closer of commercial real estate loans.

In 2011 I accepted a position at a National and Global banking firm as an originating Business banking officer. As my market and knowledge grew, I moved over to a more competitive group at Bank of the West and evolved into a brokerage position with a start up division at a local community bank before landing my role at AMF Capital in Portland Or.

As an independent Broker with AMF Capital, my knowledge and experience lends itself to a more solution driven business model. The entrepreneurial spirit with in drives me to achieve the goals established by my clients and allows my desire to deliver them the objectives they seek, versus the goals of an institution.
